First Grade Family History Project

Where do you hail from? What is your family's history? What is the heritage of which you are proud?

These questions, and many more, were answered at First Grade's Family History Project. Parents, Grandparents, and other relatives packed the first grade classroom to share some of the history that makes their family unique. Many had tears in their eyes as they listened to stories of a family business started a hundred years ago. a couple walking and holding hands after 70 years of marriage, a guitar maker and vineyard owner, an adoptive family, a hardworking man who never missed a day of work and received a gold watch at retirement, and oh, so many more!

The heritage of our first grade families spanned numerous states and countries. Columbia, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Canada, among others, are all countries that are represented by the students in first grade. What a blessing it is to have you in our community! It is most definitely the Hand of Providence that has united us together this year. May God bless you and all of your extended families richly, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!
