Honoring Dedication: Celebrating National Counselors Week at One School

National Counselors Week is a time for reflection and appreciation. As we celebrate National Counselors Week, we shine the spotlight on a department that protects the heart of our school. We are so grateful for our school counselors who touch our scholars, staff and families in the most profound ways.

With a combined experience of over 30 years among them,  Mrs. Diane Downer, Mrs. Maria Pagan, Mrs. Kim Reynolds and Pastor Tim Waisanen are not just counselors; they are warriors who fight to ensure that our children feel valued, understood and supported. Their dedication and commitment to the well-being and growth of our scholars are pivotal in shaping not only their academic journey but their personal lives as well. Their work is a foundational part of the love and warmth you experience when you step onto our campus. This blog post is a tribute to the tireless work of our counselors and an insight into the profound impact they have on our school community.

A Week of Appreciation:

Throughout National Counselors Week, we engage in various activities to show our gratitude. Scholars and staff participate in appreciation luncheons, thank-you note writing, and sharing stories of how counselors have positively impacted their lives. These gestures of appreciation go a long way in acknowledging the hard work and dedication of our counseling team.

At One School of the Arts and Sciences, we are proud to have a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to the well-being and success of every scholar. Their guidance is the heartbeat of our school, and we are profoundly thankful for their unwavering dedication and care.
