How do I apply to One School?

  • To apply go to oneschool.net/applications and follow the steps in order. 

  • If you have any question about admissions to One School, please email your inquires to hello@oneschool.net or call 407-774-0168.

 

Does One School offer tuition assistance or accept any state-funded scholarships?

  • One School does have a limited amount of tuition assistance available through application after a child has been accepted to the school.

  • One School accepts the Step Up for Students (SUFS) and FESUA (formerly McKay) Scholarships that are administered by the State of Florida.

  • We are not a VPK provider.

Does One School offer school tours?

  • Yes! We are available for tours on most days, but you must register before the tour.

Do One School scholars wear uniforms?

  • Yes! One School scholars wear uniforms that can be purchased through our official partners, Land’s End and Dennis Uniforms. See our uniform policy here.  If you have any questions regarding uniforms, email shop@oneschool.net.

  • One School also offers gently used uniforms for sale through the PTF. You can join our Facebook Group Uniform Swap Shop.

I understand that One School is a paperless school. What are the best ways to stay updated with school events and my scholar's academic progress?

  • One Schools goal is to cut paper use drastically. Switching over to electronic communication not only helps to save on costs but it also teaches our scholars how to apply the benefits of technology to their academic experience. 

  • There are several learning and management platforms that your scholar uses on a daily basis. We also encourage parents to take advantage of the parent accounts on these sites. Click here for quick links and additional parent information. 

  • Stay connected with school announcements, view current pictures and watch videos by following us on  Facebook and Instagram

  • Our website and weekly newsletters are the best way to stay up to date with the most current events. Not sure if you are on the distribution list? Sign up below and we will add you!   

 

What do I need to provide for my child to participate in Orchestra/Band?

  • One School is collaborating with Music & Arts for our instrument rental and music supplies.

  • Music & Arts' rental program is affordable and designed with 2 months of free rental so that each scholar can play test any instrument risk free to parents. If you do decide to rent an instrument, your monthly payments can go towards the cost of purchasing the instrument for those who would like to own theirs.

  • Parents are not obligated to use Music & Arts company for instrument rentals. You are welcome to rent or purchase your scholar's instrument from anywhere.

Does One School offer After-School Programs?

  • Yes! One School offers a variety of seasonal After School clubs ranging from Golf to Chess. Club registrations are handled internally and may only be available a semester at a time.

What important information should I know about dropping off and picking up my child?

  • For the safety of our Scholars, drivers must refrain from cell phone use while in car line.

  •  All cars in the afternoon carline (pick-up) will be required to have their windows down and a pick up card on the dash board with their scholar(s) name clearly stated. 

  • Anyone who does not have a pick up card will have to park and present ID to the front office to receive one.

Does One School offer Extended Care?

  • Yes! One School provides an incredibly affordable extended care program. Scholars will have time for homework and time at the playground.

  • Extended Care is available Monday-Fridays Morning Care: $6 a day 7:00am | Afternoon Care: $12 a day from 3:30pm until 6:00pm

  • Beginning at 6:01pm, parents are automatically charged an additional $15 late fee for every fifteen minutes past 6pm. Please call our direct Extended Care number (407) 900-8814 if you are running late or are sending someone that is not on the pickup list.
