Summer Camps

Get Ready for a Movin' and Shakin' Summer!

Summer Camps at One School of the Arts are an incredible time for friendships and discovery. Many camps are led by teachers and staff who love kids and are passionate about their subject area. All staff and adult volunteers have been fingerprinted and background cleared. Activities include interactive experiences, trivia, challenges, and fun tournaments and performances depending on the nature of the camp. Camps are typically framed by age groups so younger kids will be with younger kids, and older kids will be with older kids. While some instruction is involved, campers spend the week learning through hands-on learning and interactive play. All camp directors have the experience and knowledge to support any level from true beginner up through advanced. All camps have been approved through One School of the Arts and One Church. All students must have a current registration form with waiver of liability to attend any camp located on property.

How to Register:

  1. Pay $20 per camp per child registration fee.

  2. Click on the camp(s) of choice and submit payment for camp(s). Note: New registrations prior to 2 weeks will not be accepted to give camp directors time to prepare.

You'll learn more about the different aspects of creativity involved in a life of professional theatre and theatre ministry. Through exciting activities and professional instruction, you'll be introduced to acting, directing, improvisation, and design (including costume, makeup, set, and lighting). As an image-bearer of God's creative design, you'll discover what it means to use your own creative gifts in performance, ministry, and worship. Through experiential learning, OSOTA Theatre Department hopes to inspire your children to be their very best! We also take it at your child's pace. Some children are shy and may take awhile to warm up to the stage, and that is OK. We will work with your child at their comfort level, yet push them gently to help them move forward. Camp will culminate with a play performance at the end of the week.
