Open Mic is an optional assembly held each Thursday during the last hour of the day for the entire school. It's a time for scholars to perform in front of their peers in a fun and encouraging environment. Perfection is not the goal here, but rather an opportunity to sharpen their craft and learn skills such as public speaking and how to overcome performance anxiety.

This week's theme is "acting". Scholars can perform individual monologues, group skits and even human videos! Each week is a new theme, so be sure to ask your homeroom teacher for details on weekly basis!

Take a look at last week's Open Mic. The theme was "singing" and we had an amazing array of talent sign up including teachers!

Watch the Coach Kim, Mrs. Rice and
Mrs. Joan take the stage! These teachers decided to lip-sync to music Mr. Marin secretly picked out for them.
