Enrollment Policy
At One School of the Arts & Sciences, we believe in building lasting relationships with our scholars and families. Our Continuous Enrollment Agreement (CEA) makes the enrollment process simple and seamless, allowing families to remain enrolled from year to year without completing a new enrollment contract each spring.
Once your scholar is enrolled at One School, their enrollment continues through high school graduation unless you notify us of your decision to withdraw or One School determines that continued enrollment is no longer appropriate.
This process provides peace of mind for families while allowing One School to plan thoughtfully for staffing, classroom resources, and the educational experience of our scholars.
We want our families to feel confident and informed about the process, so we've answered some of the most frequently asked questions below!
-
If your family does not plan to return for the upcoming academic year, you must complete the Opt-Out Form in FinalSite before January 10th to avoid the following year's Continuous Enrollment Fee and withdrawal charges.
-
Because Continuous Enrollment allows One School to plan for staffing, classroom space, and educational resources for the upcoming school year, families who withdraw after the January 10th deadline are responsible for a portion of the following year's annual tuition based on the date of withdrawal.
Withdrawal Date Tuition Obligation
January 10th – April 15th 10% of annual tuition
April 16th – July 15th 25% of annual tuition
July 16 – Day Before First Day of School 50% of annual tuition
First Day of School or Later 100% of annual tuition
These percentages apply in accordance with the signed Continuous Enrollment Agreement.
The Continuous Enrollment Fee is separate from these tuition obligations and remains non-refundable.
-
Because scholarship awards and eligibility can change annually, families should carefully review their financial responsibility for the upcoming school year.
If your family's scholarship circumstances change significantly, please reach out to our Admissions or Business Office as soon as possible so we can review your situation and discuss available options.
Changes to scholarship funding do not automatically eliminate or reduce obligations under the Continuous Enrollment Agreement. Any withdrawal or adjustment remains subject to the applicable school policies.
-
We understand that unexpected financial situations can arise, and we encourage families to communicate with our Business Office as early as possible if they anticipate difficulty making a payment.Under the Continuous Enrollment Agreement:
Monthly tuition payments not received by the 20th incur a $50 late fee.
Tuition must be brought current by the end of the month for a scholar to remain in classes.
Accounts that become delinquent more than twice during a school year may be required to use automatic payments and/or may have extracurricular participation restricted until the account is current.
Accounts with an outstanding balance from the previous school year are not automatically renewed until the account is current.
Additional collection provisions are outlined in the signed Continuous Enrollment Agreement.
-
Families who withdraw after the academic year begins remain responsible for the applicable tuition obligation under the Continuous Enrollment Agreement.
Once the school year has begun, the financial obligation is 100% of the full published annual tuition before scholarships, financial aid, or discounts.
Tuition payments and applicable scholarship funds already received and retained by One School for that academic year will be taken into account when determining the remaining tuition balance owed.
The Continuous Enrollment Fee remains separate and non-refundable.
