THE EXPERIENCE
A wonderful start to lifelong learning.
Every second, your child's brain is forming over 1 million new neural connections. We want to maximize this stage of life and lay a great foundation for future success. We believe creativity is as important as literacy — so our classrooms are safe places for children to grow and achieve developmental milestones, explore independently, and build the kind of joy-filled curiosity that lasts a lifetime.
Safe & Nurturing Environment
Our small class sizes create a close-knit community where children feel safe and secure, allowing them to build strong relationships with their teachers and peers. Learning centers for dramatic play, creative art, science, quiet reading, and hands-on activities give children the freedom to explore at their own pace.
Individualized Attention
With smaller class sizes, our teachers provide personalized attention to each child's unique learning style and needs — whether gently holding your infant, encouraging your toddler, or guiding your preschooler through enriching activities.
Spiritual Foundation & Family Atmosphere
Our Christian curriculum provides a strong foundation for children's spiritual growth, incorporating biblical teachings and character-building moments into daily lessons. Parents are actively involved and can feel genuinely connected to their child's education and development.

6 Weeks - 12 Months
The decision to return to work is never an easy one, especially when your child is still an infant. At Wonder Academy we foster a safe, nurturing environment for our youngest of students with a low 4:1 child to caregiver ratio. Our staff is here to support you as your family adjusts to the transition of part or full time care. Communication of your child’s activities is a priority and we are committed to working with you to facilitate your infant’s growth.
-
12 Months - 2 Years
As your baby transitions into a toddler, our program adjusts with them – providing that continuing stimulation and love they need to thrive. Now that they are on the move, they are ready to explore the world around them! We harness this curiosity and channel it into learning and growing. Keeping toddlers challenged and moving ahead grows their minds and bodies each at their own pace. Balancing fun, fitness and learning with laughter brings progress far above so many “babysitting” style care centers. Our program includes communicating, creating and exploring to facilitate the development of the whole child.
-
2 Years - 3 Years
This is the class where children see themselves as independent individuals who love having all eyes on them! Yes, the two year old stage can be challenging, but our classroom is the perfect place for them to learn new habits and skills. Creative play and opportunities to use their imagination are priority as our young scholars are growing in confidence.
-
3 Years - 4 Years
Our focus for this age group is to provide a safe environment full of new exciting learning experiences for scholars' natural curiosity to flourish. While growing as individuals, they are also learning relational skills with opportunities for growth in character development.
Reading concepts, sight words, circle time, show and tell, even Spanish are all elements of the curriculum for this important development period.

The Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten, or VPK program sponsored by the state Department of Education is offered at Wonder Academy. We are proud to announce that we have the only 100% rating for this program in Lake Mary! This unique program ensures a child’s readiness for Kindergarten with a structured curriculum creating a firm foundation for his or her educational career. At Wonder Academy we follow the education standards put in place by the Department of Education (DOE), Agency for Workforce innovations (AWI), and Department of Children and Families (DCF). These standards are grouped around 8 areas of development: physical health, approaches to learning, social and emotional development, language and communication, emergent literacy, mathematical and scientific thinking, social studies, art, and motor development.

Our early learning classrooms utilize Creative Curriculum alongside intentional literacy, math, bible, arts integration, movement, dance, and project-based experiences designed to support whole-child development.

One of the greatest gifts you can give your child in the early years is presence, conversation, play, and connection. Research continues to show that screen time at a young age can negatively impact attention, language development, emotional regulation, creativity, sleep, and social growth. We encourage families to prioritize reading together, outdoor play, imaginative exploration, movement, conversation at the dinner table, and real-world experiences that help children build healthy brains, strong relationships, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our classrooms are intentionally designed to help children practice problem-solving, communication, responsibility, and decision-making in age-appropriate ways. Through encouragement, routines, hands-on learning, and supportive relationships, scholars begin developing confidence in both themselves and their abilities.

Wonder Academy was intentionally designed as part of the larger One School journey. Our goal is to help children and families build deep roots within our community from the very beginning. Because our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally relational and thoughtfully sized, Wonder Academy scholars are given priority consideration for continued enrollment as they grow into the next stage of becoming.
